The variety is a wine grape, having large, winged, cylindrical-conical clusters. The berries are small to medium, round, dark blue in color with thick skin and a thick waxy bloom. The bushes are medium-vigorous, and shoots mature well with minimal lateral shoot formation.
The variety is demanding of heat and a long growing season; harvesting in Bulgaria is carried out in the second ten-day period of October. It possesses moderate resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, and is relatively resistant to gray mold. It is sensitive to drought and low winter temperatures.
