Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a genetic descendant of Muscat Blanc and an autochthonous Greek variety. It belongs to late ripening groups. The vines have moderate vigor and upright shoots. Bunches are large, conical, and loose; berries are large, oval, ranging from yellow-green to matte brown at full maturity.

The variety is characterized by high but unstable yields. It is sensitive to fungal diseases, spider mites, and spring frosts, and lacks frost resistance. At the same time, the variety demonstrates adaptability to various soil types, including poor and acidic soils, as well as drought tolerance.

Due to its thick skin, the berries store and transport well. In winemaking, the variety is valued for its high potential for sugar accumulation and intense muscat aroma with notes of exotic fruits, peach, orange zest, honey, and roses at low acidity.
