The variety Moscatuel Rs. was obtained by crossing Moscatel Rosado №2 and Gargiulo 4320. The plant has hermaphroditic flowers and berries with pink skin, which is reflected in the index Rs. (rose).
The variety is characterized by a pronounced muscat taste and aroma, due to a high content of linalool, geraniol, and citronellol compounds. In addition to table use, it is used in in vitro embryo culture research for breeding seedless varieties.
