The variety has high vigor with an upright vegetative habit. The bunches have a pyramidal shape, ranging from medium to loose density. The berries are medium-sized, round, yellow-golden in color with a waxy bloom, thick skin, and juicy pulp.
The plant has moderate resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, high resistance to grey mold due to the bunch structure and berry skin, but is sensitive to phomopsis, chlorosis, and low temperatures.
The primary purpose of the variety is the production of aromatic dry, semi-dry, sweet, and dessert wines, including by the 'passito' method. The grapes can also be used for table purposes.
