The variety is a variation of Muscat Blanc and possesses its typical morphological traits: medium-sized berries that change color from yellow-green to golden upon ripening. The plant is historically adapted to the Mediterranean climate.

The grape is prone to active sugar accumulation; therefore, in the Trani region, it is often left on the vine until late autumn for raisin formation. The intended use of the produce is exclusively viticultural, utilized for creating wines with aromas of apricot, honey, candied fruit, fig, and saffron.
