The variety belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. and is characterized by the existence of more than 300 synonyms, such as Moscato Bianco and Gelber Muskateller. The berries are small and round. The leaves have a round shape, dark green color, and 3 or 5 lobes. Young shoots are distinguished by high density of pubescence, and young leaves possess a characteristic bronze tint.
The plant is temperamental in cultivation and requires careful maintenance. The variety exhibits susceptibility to powdery mildew, grey mold, mite infestation, and a tendency toward flower shedding, which makes yields unstable. Plant height is regulated by agrotechnical methods, such as training and pruning.
