Muscat Rose is a clone of the Muscat Blanc variety with pink-colored berries. It is a mid-season variety with medium vine vigor. The clusters are cylindrical, medium-density, weighing 350–450 g. The berries are round, have a pronounced muscat aroma, and a high capacity for sugar accumulation. The variety is sensitive to fungal diseases and gray mold.
Rosenmuskateller (Moscato Rosa) from Trentino-Alto Adige is a distinct, rare variety with a female flower type, requiring pollinator varieties. The crop is difficult to grow, characterized by low and unstable yields and high susceptibility to gray mold due to the thin skin of the berries. The clusters are large, dense, and conical with a wing. The variety is valued for its intense aroma, including notes of rose, spices, cinnamon, and cloves.
