The variety is a natural hybrid of Muscat Blanc, presumably originating from the Mediterranean. The plant is characterized by medium vigor and a hermaphroditic flower type. In Italy, it is cultivated primarily in the Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and Veneto regions.
The grapes have small, yellow-golden berries and are characterized by high yield. The variety does not possess resistance to frost or fungal diseases, and also shows sensitivity to rot in conditions of high soil moisture.
