The vine has medium vigor, shoots mature satisfactorily. Leaves are medium-sized, 3- or 5-lobed, deeply incised. Clusters are medium-sized, predominantly cylindrical, dense. Small, round berries have thin skin, their color varies from yellow-green to golden, although the variety is prone to mutations appearing as pink or dark shades.
The variety belongs to the group of early bud break and late fruit ripening. Resistance to frost and fungal diseases, such as oidium and gray mold, is low; it is also sensitive to phylloxera and spider mites. It requires sites with good warmth and drainage, and reacts negatively to lack of moisture and heavy clay soils.
The grape is a versatile variety suitable for fresh consumption, but its primary purpose is winemaking. It is used to produce dry, dessert, and sparkling wines possessing a pronounced muscat aroma with notes of tea rose, citron, peach, and honey.
