Variety description

The variety is characterized by late bud break, which protects it from spring frosts. The plant has vigorous growth. The clusters are small, compact, and heavy. The berries are large, elliptical in shape, dark blue in color, with unpigmented pulp and seeds.

The variety is moderately drought-tolerant, well-adapted to deep clay soils, and sensitive to powdery mildew and grey mold. It is characterized by medium to high fertility. Wines made from it have a purple-red color, balanced structure, moderate alcohol and acidity, with distinct notes of ripe berries and spices.
