The variety is autochthonous and holds significant genetic importance, acting as a parent variety for a number of other cultivars. The plant has a female flower type and requires cross-pollination, is characterized by high yield, and belongs to the late-ripening group.

The variety has low susceptibility to downy mildew, while the berries are prone to sunburn. It is used primarily for the production of straw-yellow wines with floral, fruity, and spicy-nutty notes in the aroma, and can also be consumed as a table grape.
