A mid-ripening wine grape variety with medium vine vigor and a drooping growth habit. Bunches are medium-sized and compact. Berries are medium to large, with thick skin, which provides resistance to certain types of rot.

The variety adapts well to various soil types. It is susceptible to downy mildew and powdery mildew, and is sensitive to flower abortion and berry shriveling (millerandage). Genetically, it is the result of a cross between the varieties Hebén and Brustiano Faux.

The grapes are noted for high sugar content while maintaining high acidity. The resulting wines are characterized by fruity and citrus notes, good body, and aging potential.
