Variety description

10 August 2026

Pinot blanc originates from Burgundy and belongs to the Pinot family of varieties. The variety is the result of a natural genetic mutation and was not developed artificially. The vine is characterized by high vigor, hermaphroditic flowers, and medium to large clusters with round, greenish-white berries.

The variety belongs to the early maturity category and is distinguished by high yield, which is strongly dependent on external conditions. As a representative of the Vitis vinifera species, Pinot blanc is sensitive to adverse environmental factors and requires standard agrotechnical maintenance measures.

The wine grape variety is intended for the creation of a wide range of wines, including dry, sparkling, and dessert options. Wines made from this grape possess a delicate aroma with notes of apple, pear, almond, and flowers, as well as moderate refreshing acidity.
