Ropi is a table seedless grape variety intended for fresh consumption, drying, and juice production. The berries are white, medium-sized, and feature firm, crisp flesh with a distinct muscat flavor. The bunches are large and loose in structure.
The variety possesses high growth vigor and is recommended for cultivation on large trellis systems. Fruit ripening occurs after August 20. Features of the variety include very late bud break in spring and the ability to hold berries on the vine for a long time without dropping.
The grape shows resistance to grey mold and moderate resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew. In the absence of proper pruning, the variety may show a tendency toward biennial bearing.
