Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a natural color mutation of the classic Chardonnay. The cluster is small, cylindrical-conical or conical in shape, and medium-dense. The berry is small, round, pink in color, with thin skin and a medium-density bloom. The leaf is round, slightly dissected, almost entire, with a wrinkled surface; the flower is hermaphroditic.

The variety ripens in the mid-term, approximately two weeks later than white Chardonnay. The yield is low. The plant does not possess high resistance to frost and fungal diseases, however, it is less susceptible to gray mold than the parent variety. Wines made from it resemble Chardonnay in taste, but may possess notes of tropical fruits.
