Variety description

The variety belongs to the first ripening period; vegetation begins one day before the Chasselas variety. Young shoots have dense pubescence, young leaves are yellow with bronze spots. Mature leaves are rounded, five-lobed. Bunches and berries are small or medium-sized; berries are round in shape with a pronounced bloom.

Due to the low fertility of the variety, long pruning is recommended. The density of the bunches makes the grapes sensitive to grey mold. The variety is a descendant of the Gouais blanc and Moural varieties, known under the synonyms Rousselou and Fel Blanc.
