Sanforte N. is a wine grape variety of the species Vitis vinifera L., also known by the synonyms San Forte and Sangiovese Forte. It is of Italian origin and is genetically similar or identical to the Maiolica variety. Externally, it bears a certain resemblance to the Sangiovese variety.

The plant is characterized by a very late maturity group and high productivity, which can be excessive in the absence of radical pruning. The berries of the variety are capable of accumulating sugars and anthocyanins. The variety is authorized for use in winemaking, including the production of wines with protected designation.
