The variety is a wine grape and belongs to the mid-to-late maturity group. The harvest is collected from the second half of September to mid-October. The vines are characterized by moderate vigor and good fruit-bearing capacity.

Bunches are medium-sized, mostly conical in shape, and compact. Berries are medium-sized, ovoid, dark purple, almost black in color with a heavy bloom. The plant requires clay-limestone soils with good drainage.

The wines possess high acidity, pronounced tannins, and potential for long aging. The flavor and aroma profile includes notes of cherry, plum, violet, as well as spicy and herbal undertones.
