The Trebbiano variety is medium-vigorous, with medium to large three- or five-lobed leaves. Bunches are medium to large, conical in shape, ranging from medium-dense to dense. Berries are medium-sized, round, light green or yellow in color, covered with bloom, with juicy pulp.
The variety has medium resistance to diseases and is relatively drought-tolerant. Late bud break protects against spring frosts, while the variety's frost resistance is weak. Yield is high and stable.
The wine grape variety is used for the production of white table wines with high acidity and neutral aroma, as well as for creating base wines for cognac and armagnac.
