The variety is an interspecific hybrid that requires deep and cool soils. The vine is vigorous, with semi-upright shoots that are susceptible to damage in strong winds. The variety ripens 2.5 weeks later than the Chasselas variety, and bud break occurs approximately one week later.

The productivity of the variety is unstable due to a tendency toward flower abortion. Cultivation as a grafted vine is recommended. The variety possesses moderate resistance to downy mildew. The clusters are of medium size; berries are round or oval. The wine is characterized by pronounced acidity and a neutral aroma.
