Molecular genetic studies have confirmed the identity of Valenci Blanco with the Beba variety. The variety is also known by many other regional names, such as Palop, Calop Blanco, Batista, and Malaga.
The plant belongs to the species Vitis vinifera and is used primarily as a table grape, although it was historically used for winemaking as well. The berries have green skin. Precise agronomic data, such as ripening time and disease resistance, are absent in open sources.
