Vaccarèse N is an autochthonous variety of the Rhône Valley, also known by the names Brun Argenté and Camarèse. The variety is intended exclusively for wine production and is authorized for use in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. In winemaking, it is used in blends with Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre varieties to improve structure and add peppery and spicy nuances to the wine.

The plant belongs to the late-ripening group. Morphological features include dark-colored berry skins, a silvery tint to the leaves, and the presence of large, dense clusters with large berries. The variety is considered productive, but it is susceptible to the risk of downy mildew and gray mold due to the density of the clusters and insufficient aeration.

Wines produced from this variety are distinguished by moderate alcohol content, medium tannins, and acidity. The flavor profile of the drink is dominated by notes of red berries, black pepper, and various spices.
