Variety description

The variety is characterized by vigorous shoot growth with poor vine maturation. The crop has low resistance to frost and fungal diseases. The variety is demanding of soils: on rich sites, excessive vegetative growth is observed to the detriment of yield, so poor gravelly soils are preferred.

Leaves are large, pentagonal, deeply lobed, and light in color. Clusters are large, dense, and conical in shape. Berries are medium-sized, round, and light red in color.

Wines from this variety have a golden-yellow color, neutral taste, and low acidity. Due to rapid maturation, the wines are often used in blends. At present, the variety is gradually being displaced from plantings by more resistant varieties.
