Variety description

The variety has a hermaphroditic flower. The leaf is rounded, five-lobed, slightly cleft, with a wavy surface and medium-density pubescence on the underside. Bunches are large or medium, conical or cylindrical-conical in shape, ranging from dense to very dense. Berries are medium-sized, round or slightly oval, green in color, covered with a thick waxy bloom, and have juicy flesh and fairly thick skin.

Verdeca is characterized by resistance to frost, downy mildew, and powdery mildew. Wines from this variety have a pale yellow color with greenish highlights, high acidity, minerality, and aromas of citrus, exotic fruits, and Mediterranean herbs.
