Villard Blanc, also known as Seyve-Villard 12-375, was obtained by crossing Seibel 6905 and Seibel 6468. Bushes are characterized by vigorous growth. Leaves are medium-sized, wide, almost entire, and glabrous on the underside. The flower is perfect.

Clusters are large, cylindrical-conical, and medium-dense. Berries are medium, oval or ovate, yellowish-green in color, with firm skin and slightly fleshy pulp. The variety is distinguished by high and stable yields, increased winter hardiness, and high resistance to downy mildew and the leaf form of phylloxera, while being susceptible to powdery mildew.

The variety is dual-purpose: suitable for fresh consumption and the production of white wines or distillates. In global breeding, it has been used as a resistance donor in the development of many modern grape varieties.
