The Vinto variety is a hybrid of Vitis berlandieri (clone Rességuier No. 1) and Börner. It possesses medium to strong vigor, ensuring the development of grafted vines at a level between the rootstocks SO4 and 125 AA.

The plant is characterized by a medium-late end to the growing season. The variety is not intended for berry production and is used exclusively as rootstock material to increase the adaptability of vineyards to unfavorable soil conditions and pests.
