This clone was obtained as a result of breeding work to select the highest-quality forms of the Kadarka variety. The index P.167 in the name is the clone identification code assigned during its registration in the gene bank register.

The variety is intended for the production of red wines. Agrotechnical indicators, such as specific disease resistance or precise maturity dates, are not highlighted separately in open publications, as the characteristics of the clone are considered in the context of the base Kadarka variety.
