The variety is characterized by early bud burst and early ripening. The plant possesses resistance to drought, summer heat, and frost, is adapted to growing on calcareous stony soils, and is cultivated using trellising systems.
The bunches of the variety are compact, pyramidal in shape, with rounded berries of a greenish hue. The variety is used for the production of white wines distinguished by high acidity, minerality, and structure, with aging potential, including extended skin maceration.
The variety Vitovska is genetically distinct from the variety Vitovska Grganja, despite them frequently being mentioned together and sharing common synonyms.
