The variety belongs to wine grape varieties and is used for the production of white wines, including the dessert wine prošek. Genetically, it is identical to the variety Malvasia Bianca Lunga, also known as Malvasia del Chianti.

The plant belongs to late-ripening varieties and is characterized by abundant and stable yields. The crop is considered easy to cultivate and has become widespread in the coastal regions of Dalmatia.

Berries are capable of accumulating a high level of sugar during ripening. The wine produced from these grapes has a golden-yellow color, is distinguished by being full-bodied and having fruit aromas of peach, apricot, and vanilla. Due to the relatively low acid content, the variety is often used in blends.
