The Viola N. variety is a table grape of Italian origin. The letter N in the name indicates the black color of the berry skin.
There is a separate grape variety "Viola" of Ukrainian breeding, which has different characteristics: a ripening period of 125–130 days, a functionally female flower, and large conical clusters weighing 400–600 g. Descriptions of the berries of this variety vary in different sources (from pale pink to dark blue).
