Vines have medium vigor. The leaf is medium-sized, rounded, five-lobed, moderately cleft, with bristly-webby pubescence on the underside. The flower is perfect. The bunch is small or medium, cylindrical or truncate-conical in shape, often winged, with a dense structure. The berry is small or medium, rounded or slightly ovoid, amber-white in color.
The variety ripens in the third ten-day period of September and requires a long period for full maturation. It is prone to rapid sugar accumulation with insufficient acidity. It is considered difficult to cultivate, is not characterized by high yields, and is susceptible to powdery mildew, especially in humid climates.
Intended exclusively for the production of white wines, which are characterized as full-bodied and oily. Possesses pronounced notes of apricot, peach, mango, lychee, and floral undertones. The wines are often used in blends and perform best when young.
