Parsley cultivation in the field is based on its high cold resistance, which allows for early sowing, and strict adherence to crop rotation to avoid pathogens common to Apiaceae crops.

Parsley is characterized by slow seed germination and the ability to withstand frosts down to -10 °C, making it suitable for early spring and late autumn sowing. Agronomic practices require excluding Apiaceae crops as predecessors for up to 4 years to prevent the accumulation of diseases and pests.

In field conditions, parsley is grown using a succession planting method at two-week intervals. Harvesting technology varies depending on the type: leaf parsley is cut multiple times once the rosette reaches a height of 20-25 cm, whereas root parsley is harvested once in the autumn before the onset of hard frosts.
