The tree has high growth vigor and a semi-upright crown shape, which gradually becomes rounded. The fruit ripens in the period from October 10 to 25. The variety is self-incompatible and is often used for cross-pollination of other varieties, for example, Bouche de Bétizac.

The plant shows some susceptibility to anthracnose and is characterized by incompatibility when grafted onto the Marsol rootstock. The variety belongs to old local clones historically distributed in the departments of Lot, Dordogne, and Lot-et-Garonne.
