The tree is characterized by medium growth and a spreading crown shape. The fruits have an elliptically elongated shape, a bright chestnut color with characteristic dark stripes, and a large size, ranging from 30 to 70 nuts per kilogram. The light-colored flesh of the fruits is noted for its sweetness, aroma, and ease of peeling.

The variety is intended for cultivation in mountainous regions at altitudes from 400 to 650 meters and tolerates cool summers well. The plant is sensitive to the chestnut gall wasp and Phytophthora root rot. Due to late pericarp development, the harvest may be susceptible to damage by the chestnut moth and rot during a wet and warm autumn, and the storage of harvested nuts is difficult.
