Variety description

The variety is a deciduous shrub about 80 cm tall. The inflorescences are of the "lacecap" type but are distinguished by the presence of double sterile flowers on the periphery and small fertile flowers in the center. The color of the flowers varies from white to pink, while on acidic soils, bluish or lavender shades may appear.

The plant blooms in June–July, prefers partial shade or shade, and moisture-retentive drained soils. In terms of winter hardiness, the variety surpasses Hydrangea macrophylla. It is recommended for planting in small gardens, border design, or for use as a specimen plant.
