The shrub has a compact, flat or spreading shape and reaches a height of 1.0 to 1.2 m. Inflorescences are corymbose, consisting of fertile flowers in the center and larger sterile flowers along the edges. When blooming, the flowers are white with a pink hue, quickly turning red.

The variety prefers locations from sunny to semi-shaded and can be grown in open field or containers. Frost resistance is up to -18 °C. The variety is used in ornamental gardening for creating borders, mass plantings, or as a specimen plant.
