The shrub is characterized by medium or rapid growth. The inflorescences are hemispherical, light pink in color, which may vary depending on soil pH. A distinctive feature is the high resistance of the inflorescences to weather conditions; they retain their decorative appearance for a long time, acquiring a greenish-purple hue by autumn.
The plant's shoots are highly strong, thanks to which the inflorescences do not droop during precipitation. The variety has winter hardiness down to -20 °C (USDA zone 6b). Flowering occurs on the previous year's shoots, therefore heavy pruning after mid-July is not recommended to avoid removing flower buds.
