The JORAYCA variety is a mutation (sport) of the classic triploid variety Jonagold. Like the original variety, it is characterized by vigorous tree growth, the height of which depends on the type of rootstock used and the training method.

The fruits belong to the autumn-winter maturity group, with harvest usually occurring in mid-October. The apples have juicy flesh, a distinct aroma, and a dessert taste. The fruit coloration is characterized by a primary green color with a diffuse red blush overlay.

The variety does not possess immunity to the main diseases of the crop, in particular to apple scab, and requires standard protective measures under conditions of commercial fruit growing. The purpose of the fruit is for fresh consumption.
