The plant is a large shrub or small tree 5–8 meters tall with a broad vase-shaped crown. A characteristic feature is its narrow leaves, resembling peach leaves, as well as small reddish-brown fruits that remain on the branches until February.
Flowering occurs in April or May; the flowers are white with pale pink buds and are fragrant. The variety has high adaptability to various soil types and urban conditions, possesses a hardiness zone of 4–5, and withstands temperatures down to -23...-28 °C.
The plant is valued for its resistance to powdery mildew and fire blight, making it a valuable material for breeding programs. The fruits are not intended for consumption due to their sour taste.
