The Arracada d'Aldover variety, also known by the synonym Montserratina, is a local variety historically originating from the municipality of Aldover in Spain. Currently, the variety is included in the Germplasm Bank for the preservation of genetic diversity.
The plant has a flowering type with a lack of functional male pollen, which must be taken into account when organizing plantings for pollination. The variety is characterized by high fruit yields compared to other local varieties of the Tarragona region and is used specifically for the production of olive oil.
