The variety has a medium flowering period, and the tree has medium vigor and an open crown. The leaves are of medium length and slightly broadened. The fruits are medium-sized and oval-shaped, changing color from green to dark purple or black upon ripening.

The plant is characterized by high resistance to cold, drought, and diseases, in particular peacock spot. The variety enters production early, provides medium-high and stable yields, and is suitable for intensive and super-intensive cultivation systems.

Oil from the fruits of this variety is valued for its antioxidant properties and stability against oxidation. The flavor profile is characterized by fruity notes of green leaves, almond, tomato, or artichoke with a characteristic bitterness and peppery aftertaste.
