ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The variety is widespread in the Alentejo region of Portugal and is part of olive genetic resource conservation programs. The primary economic purpose of the fruit is industrial processing into table olives, however, the variety is also suitable for olive oil production.
Biologically, the variety is self-pollinating. Studies show that it exhibits a low degree of olive anthracnose infestation compared to a number of other varieties. The variety is considered promising for table use due to its fruit characteristics, including the flesh-to-pit ratio.
