The tree is characterized by medium to above-average vigor, forming a spreading, semi-upright crown of medium density with drooping branches. The leaves are elliptical in shape and dark green in color with a glossy finish. The fruits are small, weighing approximately 2 g, elliptical in shape, and turn violet-black upon ripening.
The variety is characterized by late and uneven ripening, and possesses good and regular productivity. It is self-fertile, although cross-pollination with the Pendolino, Trep or Grignan varieties can increase productivity.
The oil yield is approximately 23%, and it is valued for its notes of grass, almond, and artichoke. The variety shows low resistance to diseases such as leaf spot, olive fruit fly, and olive knot, and is also sensitive to the effects of low temperatures.
