Bécu, also known as Bécu de Lorgues, is an autochthonous variety specific to the Provence region in France. It is traditionally grown for high-quality olive oil production, often in combination with other local varieties.

The oil obtained from this variety has a mild, rounded flavor with aromas of undergrowth, mushrooms, olives, and almonds. The variety is used in blends, particularly those from late harvests, to impart refinement and softness to the product.
