Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is characterized by a medium to low growth rate and a vertical branching habit. The fruits have an elliptical shape, small to medium size (1.5–3 g), and turn black-violet upon ripening. The variety is self-sterile and requires pollinators such as Leccino, Casaliva, Pendolino, or Frantoio.

The variety has high resistance to leaf spot and olive knot, but is sensitive to the olive fruit fly. The plant does not tolerate heavy pruning well, as it induces the formation of a large number of barren shoots.
