The tree is characterized by medium vigor, has an upright, dense, and broom-like canopy that requires professional care. Entry into fruit-bearing is late. The variety is partially self-pollinating; the presence of pollinator varieties is recommended for stable yields.
Fruits are medium-sized (about 3 g), oval-shaped, and slightly asymmetrical. At the time of harvest, they have a light green color, darkening to reddish-black upon full maturity. Oil content of the fruits is about 20%.
The variety is classified as late: harvest takes place from mid-November to mid-December. Trees possess good resistance to low temperatures but are susceptible to olive fruit fly and the fungal disease peacock spot.
