The tree is distinguished by high vigor with an upright crown of medium density. Leaves are elliptic-lanceolate with an epinastic curve. Inflorescences of medium length contain on average from 18 to 25 flowers.
Fruits are large, weighing 4–7 g, have an asymmetric ovoid shape, and turn dark red at the stage of full maturity. The variety enters production early and is characterized by high but periodic yields. The average ripening time falls in the middle of December.
The variety is used both for olive oil production, with a yield exceeding 22%, and for table purposes. Fruits have a low tendency for natural dropping. When propagated by semi-hardwood cuttings, it shows a medium rooting capacity.
The variety is susceptible to olive fruit fly, anthracnose, olive knot, and the fungus Spilocaea oleaginea, which causes peacock spot disease.
