ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The tree is characterized by medium vigor and a dense crown, with a tendency to grow upwards with long, strong branches. The leaves are narrow and long, often spirally twisted, and have a characteristic whitish sheen. The fruits are oval, medium to medium-large in size, and change color from light green to reddish-purple upon ripening.
Late-maturing variety, typically ripening in November. The trees require nutrient-rich soils, are resistant to low temperatures and winds, but are sensitive to the olive fruit fly and do not tolerate heavy pruning well. It is an oil-producing variety, the fruits of which yield oil with a high polyphenol content and a pronounced spicy taste.
To ensure pollination, it is recommended to plant the varieties Leccino or Frantoio.
