ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The tree is distinguished by medium vigor and an upright branch arrangement; the crown is open, sometimes with drooping shoots. The variety enters the fruiting period early and is characterized by abundant, regular yields.
The fruits have low detachment resistance, which facilitates mechanized harvesting. The produce is used for the production of olive oil with a mild taste and aroma, as well as in canned form as green and black olives.
The variety is an object of study in the Portuguese collection (CPRCO). In literature, the variety is sometimes identified with the Spanish variety Villalonga or mentioned under the synonyms Branquita and Branquinha, although it is distinguished as an independent genotype in a number of works.
