Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a local genotype growing in the area of the Quattro Castella municipality. Its survival in this locality is due to a specific microclimate that protects the trees from cold northern winds.

The fruits of the variety are of medium size, and their ripening time coincides with the Frantoio variety. The tree is characterized by medium productivity, medium cold tolerance, and medium susceptibility to the olive fruit fly. The variety is used for oil production.
